Mike started training BJJ in 2011. He was promoted to brown belt by Rafael Lovato Sr. Mike loves to lead our kids team on the mats and into competition. He loves to see students succeed in all their goals & challenges, on & off the mat. Mike is an active competitor alongside his wife and daughters. He believes Jiu Jitsu goes beyond grappling, that the principles learned can be applied in all aspects of life.
Adam started BJJ in 2021 after bringing one of his kids in to try it out. Since joining in 2021 Adam's entire family is now enjoying training BJJ. Adam believes that grappling, and especially BJJ, is one of the best character and discipline building ativities a person can take up.
Joshua began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2022 and earned his purple belt in 2025. He assists with the kids and teens classes, helping younger students build strong fundamentals and confidence on the mat. Outside of training, Joshua supports the academy by managing the school's IT systems and technical needs.
Plus many other coaches and behind the scene rockstars that make it all possible!

About Us
We began teaching in a garage with 3 students to opening doors in 2021 with 30+ students! We strive to give our students the best overall training experience with a family based, & welcoming atmosphere! We have classes for Kids/Teens & Adults for both beginners & advanced. Walking into a Martial Arts school can be an intimidating experience but at Munoz MMA you will receive a warm welcome. We focus not only on martial arts training but also on the the overall character of the martial artist with our 5 core values!

Michael Munoz
Owner & Head Instructor
Michael started Mixed Martial Arts in 2002 at the age of 6 at Lovato's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & Vale Tudo. Michael's instructors have included Antonio Munoz, Rafael Lovato Jr, & Carlos Machado. Michael received his black belt during the solar eclipse in 2024 from the man that brought Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Oklahoma, 5th degree black belt Mr. Rafael Lovato Sr.
He is honored to be serving the Blanchard & surrounding areas and has a passion to give his students the best training and learning experience possible.
